Workshops

How we craft workshops.

Grounding

You will be introduced to ideas such as the difference between 'spaces' and 'places', as well as introduce crucial concepts for framing their relationship to broader themes within environmental sustainability.

Approaches

Each workshop will introduce a core practice that allows practitioners to investigate, understand and co-create place-responsive and participatory projects.

Research

We will share the research that our practice is based on and provide the building blocks for you to build a framework within your practice for using ethnoecological approaches.

Application

Case studies and live projects will be shared to demonstrate some of how this practice is used in real-world scenarios and communities.

Our Workshops

  • Sensemaking for Sustainability

Learn how to run narrative captures and investigate the diverse perceptions and opinions held within communities.

  • Place-Responsive Practice

Understand the role of ‘place’ within sustainability and the role it plays in connecting communities to more significant climate-based shifts.

  • Ethnoecological Approaches

Explore how culture informs the relationships between people and places for a better approach to programmes, projects, practice and policy.

Let’s work together.
